After spending a month in the North East of India, we were ready for a change and headed to ‘the Punjab’, the land of endless green and yellow fields, extra thick lassi and super parathas and kulchas doused in loads of white butter. We travelled the length and breath of Punjab, from the brilliantly planned capital of Chandigarh (a model we believe every Indian city should aspire to emulate), to the villages of Gurdaspur and Bhadaur where we experienced rural Punjabi hospitality, the erstwhile royal cities of Patiala and Kapurthala, and of course the cultural and spiritual heart of Punjab, Amritsar and Anandpur Sahib. Come explore the western extremes of India as we load up on epic food, explore ruined palaces, ride around in tractors and create our very own DDLJ moment.
