Whenever we decide to travel someplace, the first thing we look for is a nice Homestay. Homestays enhance your travel experience in many ways, from making your feel welcome in a new place and offering you local recommendations to providing an opportunity to really understand a place from the point of view of the people staying there.

We have stayed in many homestays across India (If you haven’t listened to Part 1 of our Favourite homestays, you can check it out here), but a few have stayed with us, mostly because the space and the people were warm and friendly and made us feel ‘at home’ It also probably helped that they are all amazing cooks and we have returned to many of these places for the food if nothing else! 😉 So here’s our list of what we believe are some of the best homestays in India, check it out!
