We love the North East!
We have travelled across Nagaland, Arunachal and Meghalaya and written about it extensively. Later this year we will hopefully return to explore Mizoram or maybe Assam, we haven’t really decided yet 🙂
There is a belief amongst travellers that the North East is too far, too inaccessible or too difficult and thus people keep off what would be an amazing experience.
Well we are here to bust that myth!
Check out the penultimate episode of Season 2 of the reDiscovery Podcast where we talk about some of the excellent and easy trips you can do and places you can visit in India’s North East, with not too much money and not too many days to spare.
We are almost at the end of this Season and if you want to catch some of our earlier episodes you can find them on iTunes, IVM Podcasts, Audioboom or Stitcher.
Loved this!!! I am heading to Meghalaya early next October, but I am simply not able to get the spelling of the place you mentioned where the zip-lining takes place. Please help me out? Maw what?
Thanks Priya, glad you enjoyed it! 🙂 The place is called Mawlongbna. Look for Mawsynram on Google Maps, it’s around there. Do let us know if you need any other help 🙂 Enjoy Meghalaya, it’s beautiful.
